Ovo Solo - Analysis & Reporting

Ovo Solo makes extensive use of charts and graphs to illustrate data and findings. T he layout and style of the report are easy to manipulate via standard CSS. Analysis of all metrics is available by user ID and user demographics.

Automated Analysis

Ovo Solo is a powerful analysis tool. Within the software, you may report your findings based on one or many independent variables (demographics, tasks, categorizations, etc.) and get frequency and mean analysis on each. Use the Clean Up Data function to clean, filter, sort, group and edit multiple items at once or one-by-one. Select multiple items to see the statistical analysis. The analysis is reflected in your HTML based report, or you can export the raw data to a tab-delimited file.

Highlight Reel Generator

Create custom video presentations stringing together multiple highlight clips along with:

  • Title Pages – great for introducing clips with a description of the issue, the task details, etc.
  • Static Images – including charts and graphs to graphically illustrate your findings
  • Captions – share information about individual clips or copyright/confidentiality information
  • Voiceover – narrate your reel to tie it all together
  • Transitions - all Windows Media-native transitions are here: swap, fade, wipe, slide, barn door and more!

Timeline

The Ovo Solo timeline tree gives you the ability to view multiple timelines in parallel by session, user, and observer. All data are shown: task timings and parameters, web and desktop events, and logged observations. You can zoom and filter each timeline to view trends and pinpoint specific sections of data. Multi-select two items to determine the duration between them. Edit data right from timeline by simply clicking an item or moving it back and forth to adjust timing.

HTML Based Reports

Upon completion of your study, Ovo Solo generates an HTML based report. The report contains the following pages:

  • Tasks – displays task/scenario materials that were presented to the test participants, as well as the Task Parameters used during logging..
  • Users – displays descriptions and demographics for each user.
  • Surveys – display survey questions and answers and any statistical analysis calculated on scores when applicable.
  • Task Data – presents descriptive statistics and summary data for task times, task times by resolution, generic task parameters, individual tasks and task-specific parameters and task data by user demographic.
  • Categories – gives cross tabulations across all categories and frequency distributions for individual categories and QuickLogs.
  • Events – for studies conducted using Event Logger, this page presents auto-collected data such as users browser clickpaths, key presses, and mouse clicks.
  • Logs – presents all data that were logged by team members during the study.
  • Highlights – presents a listing of all highlight clips and reels, with direct hyperlinks for playback.

An extensive array of charts is exported automatically; all charts are included in your HTML report.
