Ovo By The Pound allows you to purchase a periodic license of Ovo Logger for just the amount of time you need it. You'll be able to do the following things with this periodic license:

Record the user's facial expressions and gestures using a USB Webcam or a camcorder*.
Record the user's on-screen interactions in full-resolution, full-motion format.
Log observations which are associated with the relative times on the video and screen recording, so you can easily access that video data when doing post-test analysis.
Time your user scenarios, track frequency of pre-defined user behaviors (categorical logging), and segment your logged data by user using our industry-leading logging interface.

Additionally, the Ovo Logger Freeware framework, upon which the Ovo By The Pound software is based, allows you to do all pre-test preparation, as well as all post-test analysis and reporting, without having to purchase a license for the period of time when you do those tasks. You can do the following in the freeware:

Set up User IDs, Tasks and Scenario Materials, Categories, and high-level test information before your study.
Create highlight clips, do post-hoc logging using our Log from Saved Video engine, document your findings and recommendations, and export a NIST Common Industry Format-compliant usability report after your study.

24-Hour Daily License: $500
5-Day Weekly License: $2000

Each licensing option above also includes a 1-hour "pilot license" that allows you to set up and test your video and screen recording setup the day before your study begins. When you use Ovo By The Pound, Ovo Studios' liability is limited to the dollar value of your rental, which we will gladly refund (less any credit card handling fees) in the event that our software fails to function as a result of a programming error.

Ovo By The Pound "Frequent Logger"

Customers who frequently purchase Ovo By The Pound licenses will earn credit towards a perennial, unlimited license of Ovo Logger. Each 24-Hour Daily License will earn you 1 credit, and each 5-Day Weekly License will earn you 4 credits. When you reach 30 credits, we will give you a Video Recording and Screen Recording License to keep!
